“It is obvious that you love your job by the way you treated me the other day at your office. You are warm and friendly and were a huge help to me. I'll definitely be seeing you again soon for more help. And the mini-cakes are delicious. Thank you.”

Estate Planning Pricing

All of our estate planning fees are a flat fee.  The flat fee covers initial consultation, additional meetings, drafts and signing of documents.  We require half of our fee up front and the remaining half on date of signing.

This package is one of our most popular. It includes all the necessary documents to provide for your financial and health well-being should you become incapacitated or disabled. You get a uniquely personalized will that may or may not include a testamentary trust. You also receive a list of assets, and an important information book that will help your loved ones after you die, and an executor handbook for your executor.

Specific documents you receive include:

ESTATE PLANNING PACKAGE

  • Last Will & Testament;

  • Durable Power of Attorney;

  • Health Care Power of Attorney;

  • Living Will;

  • HIPAA Form;

  • Executor Handbook;

  • Important Information for my Family Book;

  • Family Tree

  • Health Care Power of Attorney wallet card;

  • List of Assets;

  • Tabbed Notebook for all documents;

  • Electronic copy of all included documents.

We can’t quote you an exact fee because estate planning is not a one-size fits all scenario, (though many lawyers and online resources may make you think it is).

Sadly, that kind of planning can end up really bad for the people you love, potentially costing them a lot of money, or even unnecessary court processes or conflict that could have been avoided.

We have seen the consequence of “failed” one-size-fits-all estate planning too often to be willing to work that way.

We are simply not willing to provide false security, even if that’s an easier way to get clients. We are here in service to your family having the planning you and they actually need, and you being educated about what you don’t know that you don’t know, so you can make empowered decisions for yourself and the people you love.

POWER OF ATTORNEY PACKAGE

This package is for the person who wants to make sure their health decisions and financial decisions will be made in accordance with their wishes. You choose who will be your health care agent and who will be your financial agent. You also determine whether or not you want life saving measures taken, and if so under what circumstances.

Specific documents you receive include:

  • Durable Power of Attorney

  • Health Care Power of Attorney

  • Living Will

  • HIPAA Form

Power of Attorney Package Investment: $500 for individual; $550 for married couples

“Kristen Mackintosh was wonderful to work with to create a will and the other important end of life documents. She was patient with all our questions and with our delaying in getting it finished. I would use her again and recommend her to others.”
